THe Mickey Mouse Club is an American variety television show that aired intermittently from 1955 to 1996. Created by the late Walt Disney, the program was first televised for four seasons, from 1955 to 1959, by ABC. The show was revived three times after its initial 1955–1959 run on ABC, first from 1977 to 1979 for first-run syndication as The New Mickey Mouse Club, then from 1989 to 1996 as The All-New Mickey Mouse Club (also known to fans as MMC from 1993 to 1996) airing on The Disney Channel.
On July 9, 2015, it was announced that a Korean revival of The Mickey Mouse Club would begin on July 23, 2015, on Disney Channel Korea, hosted by Leeteuk of boy band Super Junior. The show aired from July 23 to December 17, 2015. Doyoung & Jaehyun were guest performers in the show.[8][8][8]
The main cast members were called Mouseketeers, and they performed in a variety of musical and dance numbers, as well as some informational segments.
The Mouseketeers consisted of nine SMRookies members: five boys: Mark, Jeno, Donghyuk (Haechan), Jaemin & Jisung and four girls: Koeun, Hina, Herin and Lami,

December 17, 2015 | The 2015 MMC AWARDS, where the trophy was a Mickey Mouse figure, was held.
The video I Just Can't-Wait to Be King, which the Rookies said was the most memorable stage they practiced together, was played again as a celebratory performance. Infinite Effort Award was given to Mark and Jeno, Versatility Award to Hina and Jaemin, Go Eun-i for Doljik Thinking, Dong-hyuk and Ramiga for Reversal Entertainment, and Hyerin and Ji-seong for Humorous Charm. The Best Couple Award went to MCs Heo Jun and Leeteuk. Mark received the Friendship Award, which was decided by the votes of Rookies and the production team. |
